DB - Friday 23rd January 2009 - Supersize It

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.
- Isaiah 6 : 1
We are assured that at the end of our time, we shall all be in heaven and enjoy the company of all those who have gone before us. Our Lord will be there to receive us and no better way than to admire His Majesty and Grandeur. In Heaven, there shall be no pain or suffering, no cries nor tears.
However, I believe that we can  experience 'heaven'  here on earth right now. When we are able to bear the pain and wipe away any tears in our daily living, we are in heaven!  Having  Jesus as our Master and Lord, we can experience the peace and joy of Heaven. The supersized assurance from our Lord will be felt when we can seek a closer relationship with Him. Expect the unexpected and never say die attitude will help us to get up when knocked down. With  our Lord's strength, we can overcome all odds and to stay righteous with peace and joy in our hearts.
Knowing about God is fascinating. Knowing God personally is life-changing.

DB - Thursday 22nd January 2009 - The God of Victory

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. - Romans 12 : 21
During this period of financial uncertainty, we must not be overly concerned and ever ready to point a finger or to complain. Hard times are often best opportunity for self-reflection and taking stock of our own affairs. The reflection should identify any misjudgement on our part and be  better  prepared to leap forward. We must not allow set-back no matter how serious to destroy our hope and desire to move on.
We are alone to face any situation that is beyond our control. God is with us. He has sent His Beloved Son to die for us in order that we can live and have life abundantly. What we need to do when faced with difficult decision making is to spend time in prayer and allow the Lord to instil in us the calm and peace so that we can manage with His strength to avoid taking the wrong step. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and instruct us. There is hope at the end of each tunnel when we have faith in Him
God will give us the victory when we join Him in the fight.
