Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled. - Luke 18 : 14
Pride comes before a fall. Each time we miss a step in our life journey, we know that we failed to be watchful in our thoughts, words and deeds. It is easy to misbehave. We let our guard down and take things for granted. This habit if not controlled, will hamper our witnessing for our Lord and live a life with regrets. One way to safeguard this is to keep in touch daily with Jesus in prayer and praise giving. Humble ourselves and He will double our joy.
In everything, give praise! Even when our chips are down, turn our thoughts to thank the Lord. We can be assured that His Mercy and Grace will envelop us and deliver us out of any worst situation. It is through prayer that we can allow His Spirit to take control of our total mental and physical nature. The end result would be a blessed one for we are humbled and not be troubled. He will strengthen us and help us to focus and be positive. Ignoring the itch and attend to the deep wounds.
The highest form of prayer comes from the depths of a humble heart.
